That phrase has echoed through the ages. For Brenda Murphy, the words are much more profound; they are a reflection of how she lives her life. At the young age of nine, Brenda struggled significantly with breathing problems as well as severe arthritis in her left leg.
However through her strong sense of faith, belief and trust in God, Brenda eventually overcame those horrendous obstacles in her young life and has refused to stop praising the One who continually makes it all possible for her today.
Brenda is known for her spiritual wit, depth, and down-to-earth style, Brenda weaves colorful illustrations and humor along with biblical truth to help audiences find contentment, walk and endurance with the Lord.
Through Brenda’s signature wit and poignant story-telling, audiences are prompted to look beyond their circumstances, and to experience God’s grace in the midst of adversity. Brenda’s distinctive blend of speaking and
worship leadership has resulted in invitations, across the country. She has been the guest and/or keynotes speaker at numerous events.
Brenda Murphy is a Captivating Christian author and popular conference speaker. Brenda has conducted countless of women conferences and has been invited to speak extensively as a keynote speaker both locally and abroad. Brenda has served as a worship leader, intercessory prayer leader, Assistant Sunday school Superintendent, Counselor, Sunday school instructor, Women Mission Instructor as well as hosted family life conferences for women retreats, mother and daughter brunches and single events.
Brenda currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas and is happily married to the absolute love of her life Audie for 29 years and enjoys resting in the perfect will, purpose and plan of God for their lives. Brenda enjoys nature walks, reading, traveling and classical music. In addition to enjoying nature walks, reading, traveling and classical music, she also enjoys movies (comedy), chocolate and candles.
Uniquely, Brenda weaves her life story, and her powerful teaching to create a message of encouragement, hope and motivation. A message that challenges everyone to keep their eyes focused on the real prize and that is none other than Jesus Christ who is LORD over everything.
Brenda holds a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources from the University of Phoenix, Arizona and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree from Capella University. She attended the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where she enrolled in Leadership for Women in Fort Worth, Texas. Brenda has served as the Founder of her own ministry, Innovative Ministries, Inc. for over 10 years. She has received numerous certificates and awards for her various rolls in Christian Leadership as well.
Brenda is currently employed as an Outdoor Events Coordinator in the Public Events Department of Office of Outdoor Events, Fort Worth, Texas.
